First edition, octavo, illustrated with wood-engraved frontispiece and numerous illustrations in text by True Williams and others, four-page publisher's advertisements at end, versos of half-title and preface blank, bound in publisher's full blue cloth, stamped in black and gold on front board and spine, and in black on back board, abrading to endcaps, some spotting and discoloration to text, corners bumped, inner joints cracked, 8 1/2 x 6 1/4 in.
