Folio-format album put together by a French-Canadian curate from Saint-Élie-de-Caxton, with large and small purchased albumen views pasted on heavy card pages, and approximately forty-four small images taken by the traveler; in total, approximately 177 photos depicting the pyramids, Mount Tabor, African dancers, the Sphinx, Carthage, an ossuary, Venice, ethnographic images, including an Arab spice market, the Vesuvius crater, Cordoba, Nazareth, Assisi, Pompeii, some images of the stations of the Cross in Jerusalem, Tunis, Cairo, Rouen, The Hague, Bordeaux, Lyon, Malta, Madrid, the Alhambra, Athens, Lourdes, Pisa, and other locations, some views signed in the negative by Bonfils, Zangaki, Esposito, Salviati, others unsigned, in a "Gilson Adjustable Album," 12 1/2 x 9 3/4 in.
