Second edition, six over-sized folio volumes, five numbered volumes and the Atlas Geographique, each volume with a typographical a title page only, the rest of the books made up of copper-plate engravings; illustrated with full- double- and triple-folding plates, each volume lacking some plates, other than the atlas volume, with forty-seven numbered plates present, along with preliminary material; other volumes with approximately 372 of approximately 419 numbered plates; [with] four additional plates from the same set, viz. plate 28 from volume III, and plates 8, 47, and 56 from volume IV; foxing in all volumes; all six volumes bound in in contemporary bright red morocco spines and red textured paper covers, bindings all show damage, including chipping, denting, and rodent predation, each 27 1/2 x 21 1/4 in.
