Wolcott, Roger (1847-1900) Gubernatorial Souvenir Photo Album, 1897-1899. Folio album compiled by members of Wolcott's staff while he served as Governor of Massachusetts, containing twenty-four photographs of the staff members, of which twenty-one are signed below the photo on the mount, including the following: Wolcott, Samuel Dalton, Robert Blood, Francis Appleton, Rockwood Hoar, Curtis Guild Jr., Frederick King, Richard Morgan, Harry E. Converse, Edward Robins, J. Payson Bradley, Frank L. Locke, John D. Billings, George Jewett, and others; all but Wolcott in formal military dress, the album itself failing structurally, the pages themselves in reasonably good shape, each photo 5 1/2 x 3 3/4 in., the album 13 x 10 3/4 in.
