Single leaf of wove paper with a later imprint from the original copper-plate engraving originally engraved by Revere c. 1762, a fulfilled copy is held by the American Antiquarian Society in Worcester, the plate itself is held in the collection of the Massachusetts Historical Society, 10 x 9 1/2 in.
"This may Certify all whom it may Concern; that the Bearer hereof______is an Inlisted Montross at his Majesty's North-Battery, in Boston, under my Command. Given under my Hand this _____ In the _____year of his Majesty's reign____."
