A series of letters addressed to Ernest Lester Jones (1876-1929),hydrographic and geodetic engineer and Superintendent of the U.S. Coast and Geodetic Survey, working under the Department of Commerce (1915-1929),each letter is typed on Department of Commerce letterhead, while Hoover was Secretary of Commerce, each carrying Christmas and New Year's greetings, with old folds, sizes vary.
