Hancock, John (1737-1793) Document Signed, Ship's Register 1784. Printed typographical document, fulfilled by hand, registering the schooner Phoenix under the name of Joseph Lunt of Falmouth, with paper seal and Hancock signature, fragmentary along central vertical fold with a small hole at the center, less problematic vertical fold through Hancock's signature, some spotting, a bit of toning, mounted on board, 12 1/2 x 8 in.
