Description:

Pair of Wedgwood Black Basalt Plaques, England, 19th century, rectangular forms with floral festoons and trophy drops above, one with Dancing Hours, one with Muses, impressed marks, plaque size 5 7/8 x 18 1/4 in.; set in ebonized wood frames.
Estimate $1,500-2,500

Scattered abrasions to the ebonized frames; one liner with a water stain. Each plaque with no evidence of any cracks, chips or restorations.
