Assembled Three-piece Scottish Sterling Silver Tea Service, Edinburgh, teapot 1825-26, Alexander Edmonstoun III, maker, covered sugar and creamer, 1833-34, maker's mark overstruck by R.& R. Keay, each with an acanthus-capped handle and chased floral spray centering a rocaille cartouche, teapot with presentation inscription to Rev. William Mather dated 1854, ht. 6 1/4 in., approx. 49.8 troy oz. total.

Teapot with insulators removed and replaced by silver bands, professional restoration to dent on the side of the body (very unobtrusive). Otherwise with just light surface wear.
