English Quarter-hour Chiming Tall Clock, carved swan's neck hood with freestanding fluted tapered columns flanking the composite brass dial with moon phase in arch, applied silvered chapter ring, chime/silent and Whittington on Chimes/Westminster Chimes subsidiary dials, engraved floral center and seconds bit, full-length glass waist door and wreath-decorated base, resting ogee bracket feet and block rear feet, eight-day, three-train movement with chimes on eight bells and four gongs, regulated by a brass-faced pendulum and three brass-cased weights, ht. 95 in.
Provenance: Descended in the Lloyd family of Cincinnati, who were in pharmaceuticals.

Original case finish with scratches, nicks and mars. lacking center finial, original feet, Flawless beveled waist door glass, original weights and pendulum, dial has wax loss on roman numerals, moons phase with extensive paint loss, movement complete but recommend a service, small crack on hood glass at top object right.
