Rolex 18kt Gold Semi-bubble Back "Ovetonne" Reference 6075 Wristwatch and Papers, c. 1953, serial no. 714490, ivory dial with applied gold indices, red date wheel, fixed fluted bezel, signed crown, automatic movement marked "G13214," dia. 36 mm.
Provenance: By descent from the original owner.
Note: The Ovetonne was one of the first "Datejust" offered by Rolex in the early 1950s. The "Super Oyster" crown was an attempt to produce a non-screw-down waterproof crown.
