Oil on canvas, the vessel under full sail, 23 3/4 x 35 1/2 in., in a gilt molded frame.
Condition: Relined.
Provenance: Private collection, Martha's Vineyard; Skinner, June 9, 1996, Lot 25; purchased by a private Massachusetts collector from the above.
Note: A handwritten card affixed to the reverse tells of the vessel's history.
