Chippendale Mahogany Veneer and Parcel-gilt Mirror, Hosea Douglas, New York, early 19th century, scrolling crest with gilt potted flower finial, and gilt floral side embellishments, scrolled base, the molded frame with gilt liner, the back with partial printed Douglas label, ht. 51 1/4, wd. 18 3/4 in.

Provenance: Robert Walin. Remains of old Platt family genealogy adhered to the back.
