Autumn in Maryland (Seneca Creek). Signed "Benson B. Moore" l.r., titled and dated ".../-1957-" in ink on the reverse, incorrectly titled "Virginia Landscape, Early October" in a pencil inscription in a later hand on the frame backing paper. Oil on canvasboard, 14 x 18 in., framed. Condition: Restored abrasion through the center of the composition.

The center abrasion measures about 7 inches, but it is noticeable only at an angle in raking light.
