Two Framed Works: Madonna and Child in a Tuscan Landscape and Madonna and Child in a Church Courtyard. Landscape initialed and dated "MCP/1933" l.l., with a partial stamp from Carl Siembab Gallery, Boston, on fragments of the frame backing paper, oil on tin or similar metal panel, 16 1/8 x 11 1/2 in.; Courtyard initialed "MCP." l.r., gouache on paper, sheet size 5 1/4 x 7 5/8 in. Condition: Landscape with surface spots and stains, scattered abrasions; Courtyard with spot or stain to u.r. quadrant, abrasion to left edge, scattered surface losses, hinged to back mat, glue stains and tape remnants to the reverse.
