Four Lacquered Inros, Japan, 19th century, a lacquered three-case inro, decorated with incised shishi design, with ojime and rabbit-shaped netsuke signed "Shojiki"; a maki-e-lacquered four-case inro, decorated with actors in bas-relief with inlaid details, with carved shell ojime and figural netsuke; a black-lacquered four-case inro, decorated with a bird-and-flower design in bas-relief, inlaid shell details, with bead-shape ojime and hand-drum-shape netsuke; and a grained wood three-case inro, decorated with bamboo, pine, and plum in bas-relief, signed, chick-shaped gilt-metal ojime, all rectangular, inro ht. to 3 1/2 in.
