Soapstone Carving of a Luohan, China, in the manner of Zhou Bin, seated with a shishi lion cub in his raised hands, signed "Shangjun" to bottom right, gilt details, mounted on a four-lobed base surrounded with an oval rockery, the underside inscribed with date "Tianqi 6" (1626) and signature "Zhou Bin Shangjun," ht. 3 3/4 in.
