Kashan Lustre Jug, Persia, possibly Seljuk period, compressed round body tapering at the foot, decorated with alternating sun, bird, and arabesques, the wide cylindrical neck decorated with bands of foliate motifs, the handle and interior with decorative calligraphy, ht. 9 1/2 in.
