Gandharan Stucco Head, Kushan, possibly 4th/5th century, the head with heavily lidded eyes and full lips, with flowing hair held together by an intricate ushnisha, ht. 8 in.

Provenance: Purchased in Karachi in the 1960s by an Edward Durell Stone architect, then by descent to the present owner.
