Two White-glazed Bowls, China, early Ming dynasty style, one decorated with incised anhua-style dragon design, the other with floral scrolls under a key-fret band, one-character "ri" mark on base in underglaze blue, ht. to 3 1/2, dia. to 7 3/8 in.
Provenance: The collection of a New England gentleman.

minor fritting around mouth rims, glazing flaws with clay impurities particularly to wells, some surface scratches.
