Thames Police, 1859, final state of five (Glasgow, 53; Kennedy, 44). Signed and dated within the plate. Etching on laid paper, plate size 6 x 8 7/8 in. (15.2 x 22.5 cm),matted, unframed. Condition: Margins approximately 1 inch, subtle toning or soiling (primarily to margins),pencil annotations to lower margin and verso.

The sheet measures 8 1/16 x 11 3/8 inches and has a figural waermark. There are pencil annotations to the lower margin and verso. There is also some minor soiling to the verso. The work has no hinges and is held to the backing mat with photo corners.
