In Memorium, alternatively titled The North Portal of Chartres Cathedral, 1939, second state of two, edition of 312 (Fletcher, 317). Signed and dated "John Taylor Arms 1939" in pencil l.r., numbered and dedicated "II To Kate Rennell with affection - Dorothy and John Taylor Arms" in pencil l.l., identified on a fragmentary label from the artist's studio affixed to the backing. Etching on paper, plate size 14 5/8 x 12 in. (37.0 x 30.4 cm),framed.
