Two Georgian Mahogany Open Armchairs, England, one late 18th century, oak secondary wood, curved crest rail, pierced splat in the gothic taste, curved armrests and armrest supports, serpentine apron, openwork spandrels, straight legs and stretchers, over-rail upholstery, ht. 38 1/2, seat ht. 19, wd. 25 1/2, dp. 23; and a 19th century Georgian-style mahogany armchair, oak secondary wood, curved crest rail, pierced splat, curved armrests carved at the ends with stylized leaves, slip seat, cabriole legs carved at the knees with leaves and ending in claw-and-ball feet, ht. 36, seat ht. 18 1/2, wd. 25, dp. 21 in.
