Four Tall Mid-century Modern Metal and Ebonized Wood Candleholders, United States, c. 1965, each with gilt-brass sconce above cruciform red and black decorative element, stem composed of metal rod and wood, square base, ht. 48 3/4 in.

Provenance: Furnishings from Sacred Heart Parish in Waltham, Massachusetts, an iconic mid-century modern church designed by Aldo A. Minotti (1911-1988) and constructed in 1964. All proceeds to benefit the church.

Age expected wear especially to bases, small areas of discoloration on sockets and bobeches. One bobeche bent a rim.
