Three Painted Wood Vintage Water Skis, Atlantic-Pacific Manufacturing Corporation, Brooklyn, New York, c. 1950s, a single two-footed ski with fin and a pair of "Bruce Parker Sea Gilder" skis, red- and white-painted skis with maker's logo, lg. 74 1/2, 69 in., respectively.
Note: In the late 1930s and early 1940s, Bruce Parker emerged as the world's first professional water-skier, and was known throughout the Eastern United States as "Mr. Water Skiing."
