Three Ornamental Hair Combs from the Solomon Islands, 19th century, possibly Malaita Island, many segments of dried coconut-leaf midrib, bound together by a decorative lashing of fine coconut fiber in two shades, held by a fine woven band at the middle of the comb, (some loss),lg. 10 1/4, 8 1/2, and 7 3/4 in.
