Description:

Navajo Child's Wearing Blanket, fourth quarter 19th century, woven homespun wool, with black and natural white stripes and stepped devices on a variegated red background, 28 x 35 in.

Provenance: Private collection, Virginia; David Cook Fine Art, Denver, Colorado.
Estimate $1,500-2,000

In good condition; a fabric band for a pole is sewn onto one edge, two very small yellowish stains on one of the white bands.
