Description:

Navajo Hubbell Revival Blanket, c. 1895, woven in commercially spun and dyed single-ply wool in black, red, and gray, with typical banded design of a woman's chief's blanket, background composed of horizontal alternating strips in black and gray, with three red bands each with five black outlined crosses, 58 x 51 in.

Provenance: Private collection, Virginia; Shiprock Gallery, Santa Fe, New Mexico.
