Early Mochica Copper Mask, c. 300 BC-300 AD, the warrior's head with sunken mouth and eyes, wearing a crescent-form openwork headdress, the headband with remains of loops for attachment of dangles, a double-headed serpent arching above with scrollwork body projecting upward, wd. 6 1/2 in.
