Description:

Luba Headrest, male and female couple, each with one hand on the other's back, the free hand holding up the headrest together with the coiffure, the figures with large hands and feet, protruding stomachs, and angular faces with open mouths and coffee bean eyes, overall dark brown patina, ht. 5 3/4, wd. 6 1/4 in.

Provenance: Mauricio and Emilia Lasansky collection, Iowa City, Iowa; by descent to the present owners.
