Yoruba Gelede Helmet Mask, hollowed-out hemispherical form pierced in two places on the rim, elongated face with protruding mouth and nose, coffee-bean pierced eyes with heavy lids, high protruding eyes under an incised headband, with an enveloping headdress with has an overall cross-cut pattern and bow at rear, rich dark smooth patina, ht. 9 1/2, wd. 11 1/2 in.
