14kt Gold and Intaglio Ring, the intaglio with crest, bird claw setting, size 8.

Provenance: Gift from Joseph H. Hirshhorn, (1899-1981) financier, philanthropist, and benefactor of the Hirshhorn Museum and Sculpture Garden, Smithsonian Institution, Washington, DC.

According to family members, Hirshhorn had the ring custom-made from a set of antique cuff links.
