Two Framed Oils Depicting Sailing Vessels:
Vivian Forsythe Porter (American, 1880-1982),Clipper Ship Under Sail, signed "V.F. Porter" l.r., oil on canvas, 18 3/4 x 28 3/4 in.; and Zsuzsanna Sügér (Hungarian, b. 1939),Fishing Vessels at the Shore, signed "Sügér Zs" l.l., inscribed "Sügér Zs" on a gummed label and with a Hungarian customs stamp, both applied to the reverse, oil on Masonite, 12 x 16 in. Condition: Clipper with patch reinforcement to stabilize a small tear to u.l. quadrant, scattered abrasions, varnish inconsistencies, surface grime; Vessels with surface grime.
