Description:
After Frederic Remington (American, 1861-1909)
The Broncho Buster. Inscribed "Frederic Remington" on the top of the base, no foundry mark, number, or copyright inscription. Bronze with dark brown patina (later cast),height 23 5/8 in. Condition: Quirt detached, dust and dirt to interstices, minor areas of oxidation.

While the bronze is a later cast, it does have some details of interest, including the free-moving stirrup on the right side, the horse's hollow eye sockets, and the brand on the horse's rump.
