Silver Vase Presented to Reverend Daniel Sharp, D.D., Jones, Ball & Poor, Boston, Massachusetts, c. 1852, vase with extensive embossed leaf and floral swag decoration, engraved "Presented to/REV. DANIEL SHARP, D.D./on the/Fortieth Anniversary/of his settlement as/PASTOR of the Charles Street Baptist Church,/April 29th, 1852,/by his/Ministering Brethren of the Boston Baptist Associations,/to show their veneration for his unblemished character as a good/Minister of Jesus Christ.," the bottom marked "JONES BALL & POOR/PURE COIN/BOSTON" in sunken cartouches, with bound congratulatory letter signed by forty-six Boston-area clergymen, ht. 11 3/8 in., approx. 19.1 troy oz.
