Description:

Paul Revere Sr. Silver Caster, Boston, Massachusetts, c. mid-18th century, the baluster body with pierced top and turned finial, marked "PR" (Kane mark A) in a sunken cartouche on the side and base, engraved on the bottom "P/IM," ht. 5 1/4 in., approx. 3.7 troy oz.

Note: Kane documents a porringer by Paul Revere Sr. with the same engraved monogram for John and M. Parsons.
Estimate $1,200-1,800

There are a few shallow dings on the base and the foot may have been reattached in the distant past.
