Watercolor Birth Certificate Fraktur for Abraham Scholl, Northumberland County, Pennsylvania, 1813, the inscription within a yellow, red, and green border with rosette corners, flanked by polychrome potted tulips, with birds and flowers above, large star below and inscribed heart corners, mounted in a grain-painted frame with turned corner blocks, sheet ht. 12 1/2, wd. 16 in.

1/4 in. tear in top edge above left rose; small paper repair at the edge of the heart at the u.r. corner between edge of heart and rose; evidence of a horizontal and vertical fold through the center of the sheet; repaired tears at the right edge extending into the potted tulip; sheet is affixed to the backing by tabs or hinges behind the corners and at two spots along the top edge.
