Queen Anne Walnut Dressing Table, New Jersey/Pennsylvania area, c. 1730-50, the molded top overhangs a case of three short drawers above deeply valanced skirt, joining cabriole legs ending in slipper feet, replaced brasses, refinished with old patina, ht. 28, case 30, case dp. 18 3/4 in.
Provenance: According to a note written in 1992 by Emma Cadwalader Bunker, this piece had descended in the Cadwalader family since the 18th century; R. Jorgensen Antiques, 1993.

two board top with repaired separation, and continued shrinkage. piece shows evidence of having been in a fire - much of the underside is blackened. Old brasses are not original.
