Colt Single-action Army Revolver Identified to a Montana Ranch, c. 1896, serial number 167130, .45 caliber, rubber grips with marks on the side and bottom marked "BITTERROOT VALLEY MONTANA/BITTERROOT VALLEY MONTANA/CARL CIAMPO," marked on the left side of the frame "PAT. SEPT. 19. 1871./JULY 2-72. JAN. 19.-75.," and on the top of the barrel "COLT'S PT. F.A. MFG. Co./HARTFORD, CT. U.S.A.," barrel lg. 4 3/4, overall lg. 10 in.

Grips have some wear and ranch or brand marks, bottom of the grips have the ranch name scratched in. No finish on the gun and is it a plum color. The bore has some light pitting with strong rifling.
