Pair of German Single-shot Breech Loading Pistols, c. late 19th century, checkered walnut stocks, ornately engraved frames with cherubs and foliate designs, marked on the right side of the barrels with a crown over "B, G, and U," also marked "172/28," top of the octagonal barrels marked "L. DIETER HOFBUCHSENMACHER MUNCHEN," bore 7.9 mm, barrel lg. 9 3/4, overall lg. 14 5/8 in.
