Description:

Committee of Safety Musket, c. 1770s, .80 caliber, walnut stock with brass fittings, no lock markings, marked on the left side of the breech "SS" and just below it on the stock, with an iron ramrod, barrel lg. 41 7/8, overall lg. 57 1/2 in.

Some dings and nicks in the stock and a small repair on the toe of the butt as well as a small repair in between the entry and lower ramrod pipes, the lock functions but doesn't lock on half or full cock.
