Description:

Burnside 5th Model Carbine, c. 1863-65, serial number 19885, walnut stock and forend, steel fittings, marked on the top of the receiver "BURNSIDE PATENT:/MARCH 25TH 1856.," barrel lg. 21, overall lg. 39 1/2 in.

Stock has a few dings and nicks, the action functions properly, the barrel and receiver are gray to light plum color, and the bore has some light pits but is in good condition.
