Description:

Two Civil War-era Smooth Side Canteens, c. 1860s, a smooth side canteen with a jean cloth cover and original strap (chain replaced), and a smooth side canteen with a jean cloth cover (damage) and an original sling (unattached).

Provenance: The collection of Ed Vebell.

Some damage to the cloth covers and one has a replaced chain.
