Model 1863 Springfield Rifle Musket, Sling, and Bayonet, c. 1864, walnut stock with "A.B.T." carved on the left side near the lock screws, lock marked "1864" and "U.S./SPRINGFIELD," barrel dated "1864" with "V/P" proof marks over an eagle, two-leaf rear sight, bayonet marked "U.S.," barrel lg. 40, overall lg. 58 in.

Stock has a few dings and nicks as well as the A.B.T. initials carved on the left side of the stock near the lock screws, the steel parts are bright and the lock functions properly.
