Spencer Repeating Carbine, c. 1863-65, serial number 28089, 52 caliber, walnut stock, color case hardened receiver and lock, marked on the top of the receiver "SPENCER REPEATING/RIFLE CO. BOSTON, MASS./PAT'D MARCH 6, 1860," barrel lg. 22, overall lg. 39 1/4 in.

Stock has a few dings and nicks but is in very good condition. The gun was coated in a shellac and under that is a lot of original finish. The bore is in very good condition.
