Model 1851 Colt Navy Revolver and Holster, c. 1863, serial number 151888, .36 caliber, walnut grips with initials carved on the upper right side, very light cylinder scene, marked on the top of the barrel "ADDRESS COL. SAML COLT NEW-YORK U.S. AMERICA," and a leather holster, barrel lg. 7 1/2, overall lg. 13 in.

Grips have some dings and nicks and initials carved on the upper right grip, no finish left on the gun and some pitting, and the action functions properly. The holster has some wear and was adapted to use with a brass finial through the flap.
