New Hampshire-marked French Model 1771 Locking Ring Socket Bayonet, c. 1771, bayonet with retaining ring, marked on the socket "No. 64," with crisp French maker's stamps on the base of the blade, overall lg. 17 1/2 in.

Provenance: The George C. Neumann collection.
