Heubach Bisque 5636 Laughing Boy Character Doll, Germany, c. 1910, brown sleeping eyes, open smiling mouth with tongue and two molded lower teeth (tiny black pinspot on cheek, old inch-long shrinkage line from top edge of crown at back of head), impressed with sunburst mark and "5636," replaced blonde human hair wig, fully articulated composition body, brown cotton shirt, pants, and cap, brown leatherette three-button boots, ht. 16 1/2 in.
