Tiffany & Co. "English King" Pattern Flatware Service, New York, late 19th/early 20th century, monogrammed, made up of both sterling silver and silver-plate, sterling silver comprised of: fourteen hollow dinner knives, twelve hollow luncheon knives, twelve teaspoons, ten spreaders, eight demitasse spoons, eight dinner forks, eight luncheon forks, eight dessert spoons, a gravy ladle, serving spoon, cold meat fork, hollow pie server, and fish server, approx. 107.2 troy oz. weighable silver; silver plate comprised of: twelve large soupspoons, seven teaspoons, six dessert spoons, six forks, six demitasse spoons, five luncheon forks, four salad forks, three salt spoons, and three spreaders, all in two fitted cases.
Various monograms, silver set with surface wear abrasions throughout, knives all marked Tiffany though some earlier than others (several older examples with slight, stable separation at joint, some spots of rust), several with minor pinprick dents to handles. Fish server with wear/loss to gold-wash. Silver-plate set with age-typical surface wear.
