Minton Majolica Game Pie Tureen and Cover, England, c. 1877, polychrome enamel decorated and modeled with fox handles and running ducks to either side amongst ferns and broad leaves, mushroom finial, impressed mark, lg. to 15 in.

Professionally and extensively restored to cover and tureen body. The cover appears to have been restored to the finial, to rim chips and to a sizable hairline. The tureen with restorations to each fox and to chips of tureen and dish rims. Also to a sizable hairline nder the base. The restorations have considerable areas of peeling and a metallic-like finish.
